Watercolor Letters

Integrating the letters in your students’ names in this watercolor painting is a fun way to start the year off.  It makes a beautiful window display!

 

What You Need:

 

• 12” x 18” thin drawing paper

 

• Pencil

 

• Black sharpie

 

• Watercolor paints

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What To Do:

 

1. Using the pencil, have your students write all the letters in their name on the drawing paper.

 

2. Draw lines to each letter to section off the artwork. Trace over the letters and lines with a black sharpie.

 

3. Use the watercolors to paint the large white sections. Let dry.
